Our Criollo cattle and Heritage Hogs are raised in an all natural environment, using not only traditional ranching and farming practices, but also innovative methods to produce exquisitely, refined characteristics in our meat. We take pride in making sure that no, synthetically produces, antibiotics, growth hormones or pesticides are used in its production. Our animals are processed one at a time to ensure quality, at the finest Butcheries located in the Southwest. You will find an assortment of our beef products and pork products at two local Farmer's Markets, Ardovino's Desert Crossings Farmer's Market in Sunland Park, NM and the Las Cruses Farmer's and Crafts Market and at the Mountain View Coop Market in Las Cruces. .

Ganados del Rey is a Craft Meat Producer and an experienced, responsible livestock operator that raises healthy happy livestock in New Mexico. You should try our beef and pork products because:

The Beef we produce is:

  • Breed specific to Criollo Cattle
  • Ranch raised on open range pastures in the Chihuahua Desert and because of their inheritant traits, leave less carbon imprint on our rangelands, than other commercial breed of cattle.
  • Free of administered growth hormones, antibiotics or chemically produced pesticides during their production.
  • Inheritable, lower in poly saturated fats, higher in mono saturated fats, lower in cholesterol, higher in protein and fewer calories. Higher in essential amino fatty acids, zinc, iron, B-12 and calcium.
  • Slaughtered and processed one at time in smaller USDA butcheries that specialize in custom processing.
  • Dry aged for a minimum of 21 days to promote tenderness and intensify the flavor.
